I recently discovered the existence of Vector (https://vector.dev/) during a conversation with a colleague from another company.
He is responsible for Observability and, after our conversation, he strongly recommended us to invest some time in exploring Vector to optimize the usage we are doing of DataDog.
He offered also the possibility of having a session with his tech lead to better understand their set-up and the benefits this is bringing them.
