Except dial home to vendor in case of hardware failure we don't have any Roche monitoring system for Brocade SAN switches in place.
The current basic module of LogicMonitor for Brocade switches is not able to monitor different virtual Fabric ID's existing on one Switch (Chassis).
Therefore we need LogicMonitor Professional Service to customize switch monitoring according to Roche environment/setup to deliver
- Integration with Snow - Create incident and assign to Storage DLM.
(Full Transparency of all SAN Switch incidents)
- Permanent Monitoring of Health Status
- Increased Security e.g. detection of open Ports
- Proactive detection of failing switch components e.g. SFP's
We keep the entry here until it is clear how this new capability can be delivered.
LogicMontior TAM is addressing this need directly with the stakeholder trying to understand if there is something in LM backlog to address this need vs developing something custome.
