I have implemented in my application the integration with open telemetry and logic monitor, in order to collect certain lines from the application logs. The lines collected are split by a regex expression, generating some custom fields. The problem is that I can't use those custom fields in the reporting module, as only the default ones are displayed there.
My goal is to have statistics about the usage of the API by the customers, such as number of calls. group by requester or group by type of request.
Another approach for solving this could be improving the datapoints available for the logs in the dashboard widgets.

We already talked with Victor Chicharro about this idea, he needs to metricized the logs and this feature is not already available in LM logs, we suggested him to use Grafana Cloud for this purpose.
A meeting between the customer and the provider will be scheduled to clarify what would be needed.
